Description

I love the idea of the Penguins getting in on Granlund. I have always thought we could bring the two-way dimension to the Malkin line that would be beneficial in the playoffs. Seems like he is not working out in Nashsville and they might be looking for pieces to bring in a bigger name prior to the TDL (someone like Kreider maybe?)

Minnesota trade was taken from another thread. I don't know much about Donato but he could easily be removed from the trade or even added to the Nashville trade.

Good thoughts! I didn't think NSH would be in this position, but I do think if JR could swing a Galy for Granlund swap with a sweetener...that would be huge. Galy would probably also need to agree to a 1 year reasonable extension which I don't think would be too hard to envision.

If Nashville is out of the playoff position at the deadline, I’ll take the 2nd and prospect.

If this trade were to be right at this moment, I’d swap you for galchenuk right now. Both players could benefit from a change of scenery
