NYR aren’t trading to a rival for a 1 and a C prospect, would need to be a B or B+ prospect. Probably B+ being Pittsburgh

Don't discount Almari that fast. He is looking to be pretty good. Not gonna say he's a lock on a 1st pair D but he's looks pretty good so far in his career. That being said, there is no way PIT should trade for Kreider. Would he fit in well, damn right, but seeing what a guy like Hayes got on the FA market last year, there is no way PIT could re-sign him. Just not worth the cost.

Kreider isn't worth it.

People act like bringing him in is some replacement for Jake. He's not. He's not even close to that.
Lets not sit around pretending he his.

The last thing this team needs to do is reach. Every time a team reaches on a player they end up screwed. Steady as she goes. No rushing into stupid decisions.
If they make a move let it benefit the team long term.

Also NYR don’t need defensive prospects.
