Detroit passes they aren't trading Mantha. If they were to trade Mantha Saad and some spare parts isn't going to cut it. Saad has 13g + 8a = 21 points in 38 games. Mantha has 12g + 12a = 24 points in 29 games. There really isn't a reason for Detroit to do this.

Totally different players; Saad is a power defensive forward not a dynamic scoring winger. That said agree that isn't enough for BOTH Mantha and Svechnikov. De Haan is having his 4th shoulder surgery on the same shoulder so he's pretty shot at this point. Kampf is very solid defensively, awesome on the PK and great 4th liner...I don't like the idea of the Hawks moving him. Krys is whatever...maybe a serviceable 7th D man.

Detroit deal isn't good, they won't agree to it.

The defense you created here is an absolute disaster both short and long term.

Well it's not like Mantha sacrifices any defensive ability to put up those points, he's probably better than Saad defensively
