Pretty steep price to pay for pretty average players. Take out the 1st and add a couple mid to low level prospects maybe.

Why do the bruins pay such a steep price to pick up a 3rd pair d man that causes them to demote Clifton, who has an awesome contract for the next three years, and expose him to waivers?

Isn’t Clifton still on a 2 way contract? Thought him clearing waivers doesn’t kick in until next year
