Johnson is capable to take top line on the temporary. TB sells cheap because their cap problems and limits from Johnson's NTC. I see Johnson waiving for MIN - Ice time, plus he is from Washington state - much closer!

I could see the Tampa trade working, but it’s more of an offseason move

yup, that's what it's intended to be. Only the brodin deal happens before this offseason in this AGM

Wild need a center for Brodin if they move him, whether that's a young prospect with upside (like Ryan Suzuki or Borgstrom) or a roster player like Domi or Trocheck, we need to get a center. I know you acquired Tyler Johnson here, but he's quite a bit older than what we should be looking for (he'll be 30 by the time next season starts if you can believe it). Same goes for a Dumba trade, has to be for a center. Vesalainen will not have any better of an opportunity here to get minutes than he has in Winnipeg since we are overflowing with wingers (and we have prospects like Kaprizov, Boldy, Beckman, Firstov, etc.). I also think we only move one of Dumba or Brodin and not both. I wouldn't hate moving Staal, and I could see Carolina being on his "yes" list if they want him. I will always have a soft spot for Staal but this team needs youth.

I don't see many teams other than WPG being able to go all in on Dumba. Do you like Copp as the start for a return asset? I know Roslovic' name has been thrown around a lot w/ this trade idea, but i struggle to see WPG letting him go. Who else would you take from them?

Isn't boldy a center? Often times when I make MIN AGMs i look for a placeholder top line guy that can move to second line later on and swap roles with Boldy... but I always thought he was your center-to-be?

The specific assets might not be desired, but how far off is the actual value? As in, swapping out one player for another of equivalent value gets some of these done?
