Let’s make some moves to shore up the d.
Demelo is a solid “clean up guy” that would make niku look great while also teaching him how to play in his own end. Heinola will make the team again imo. Kulikov should be resigned but resigning him blocks off one of heinola and niku from being regulars. Finally we need a physical shutdown rd for morrissey. Which is where subban comes in now hear me out.

After buff is gone the jets need a difference maker. It just someone who makes the quiet right play. They need a big piece. Someone to replace buff’s flair. I know subban brings a whole barrage of problems with him but he did make it work in Nashville and Montreal still loves him. I think the jets can make it work. Worst case the locker room has personality clashes and the jets trade him. However if buff and wheeler can make it work I’m pretty sure subban and wheeler can too. Subban isn’t nearly as much trouble by all reports. Now with the trade: what needs to be added/subtracted.

Thoughts on the other NJ trade? Seems like a solid move for both sides

I think that the forwards are fine though and that roslovic is growing every game at this point. He should see some time at c soon and if it doesn’t work out we could have boqvist there instead. The jets really can’t think that we will get anywhere without having a 2c that fits in our top 6.
