Bolts RD depth is thin and have plenty of young middle 6 forward prospects, no thanks

Him signing doesn’t mean he stays up all season and the reason he hasn’t signed yet is because they can only sign future contracts. I think they’re waiting to see if there will be any regular season games before signing so they can get a look at him for a few games and have a good idea if he’ll need a season in SD or not.

I’m assuming the 9 game rule for ELCs is still in affect for late season drafted college players but I remember the terry signing they burned a year right away. Just can’t remember if that was part of the deal or not.

that depends on how this season plays out. If they do playoffs and the cap only increases a little then someone one of the 3 RFA's might be moved. If the cap remains the same or goes down then a buyout might occur making it a little easier to work with.

I feel like if he does sign it’ll be similar to Turcotte with LA, he did post on IG thanking Boston college too so I think at the least he’s done there

100% agree not to keep him up for the sake of it, we can’t afford to rush him if he needs the seasoning I’m all for it, just wanted to see lines potentially and with the quarantining I’m pretty bored 😂

Yeah that’s what I figured, if he does become available I would think the Ducks would be first in line with an offer though
