This isn't the Doughty he used to be. I think this is a very fair offer for Doughty, probably an overpay because his contract is.... OOF. I do agree that he's not likely to waive his NMC for montreal

Ikonen already re-upped with his team in europe, theres no way he is NHL ready after his injuries anyways.

Overpayment for Evans, a two year one way contract $700k would be more than enough of a raise on his two way contract. He will just be excited to have earned a one way contract as it likely means he will be in the NHL full time.

Only 2 years for Romanov? I'll be disappointed if the habs give him that should be getting 3 years @ $925k.

Ouellet, hudon, vejdemo all overpaid. Unless Vejdemo is a two way contract, but the other guys wont be taking two ways.

This is a good point, he's not what he used to be so why we will be giving futur assets for a guy who'll just decline year after year but still have a big impact of 11m for 6 -7 years on the cap. Also he would have to remove his NMC and i really doubt about that because he just build a house in LA last year and really appreciated the organization and living there so. This is awful for habs and he wont accept, so in my mind is a nop from both sides.
