Its actually impossible, its in the CBA, so unless they renegotiate the entire CBA by next season this isnt happening

yeah the leafs aint CBOing the captain right after he was named it our organization would look horrible at that point. It would be like Connor Mcdavid being drafted first than traded to the leafs the same day
