Are you really willing to give 9,5millions for 8 years to a guy who hasn't played a minute in this league?
Should start with a bridge deal of around 2 years.

You should read the description and realize he posted a post about the year prior. This would be Sorokin's second year.

If Sorokin wants $9.5 in his 2nd year you have to trade him. Massive contracts for goalies are not a good idea, i.e. Brobovsky, Price. The top you can pay him is $7M.
Barzal is getting $9M to $9.5M.
There is no reason to sign Martin, there is nothing he does that Johnston cannot do.
The Parise trade is dead, it as only being discussed before Pagaeu trade went through. Rather keep Bellows and Aho then make this team even older.
Boychuck takes more than a 3rd to move.
Leo only gets selected if you send a pick or prospect to Seattle.

    Much rather see this:

    Bellows- Barzal- Eberle
    Lee- Nelson- Wahlstrom
    Beau- Pageau- Connolly
    Leo- Czizkas-Clutterbuck
    Johnston
    Bardreau

    Pelech- Pulock
    Toews- Dobson
    Aho-Mayfield
    Boychuck

    Varlamov
    Sorokin

    Players Moved:
    Leddy traded for Brett Connolly
    Bailey for draft picks
Hickey with a pick for a lesser pick
    Dal Colle for Draft Pick
    Ladd CBO
    Martin gone UFA
    Brassard gone UFA
    Kuhnackal gone UFA
    Greene gone UFA

    AHL:
    Koivula
    Holmstrom
