Description
So I worked through each of these trades independently. I think based on the feedback the value must be pretty close.
I do realize that the Buffalo trade is a bit of a gamble but I think if Mittelstadt was getting some home cooking it might help him get back on track.

Let me know what you think.

No way Buffalo moves Mittelstadt and Risto and doesn't receive a 2C to play behind Eichel. Zucc's contract is pretty bad, Brodin is definitely a solid piece but Sabres give up too much. No way Byfuglien signs for 4M at 2 years. Fleury trade is good and Ducks jump at the Dumba trade, Wild lose it I think.

Buff might not want that but Minnesota is home and given the unknowns with him who will offer more.
Zuccarello contract is bad but I have Wild taking Okposo's contract which is worse.
Mittelstadt isn't going to be a 2c next year and I think he isn't going to work out in Buffalo. Most of the feedback I got on this earlier had the Wild losing this trade so it must be close to a fair deal.

I'm not saying Mittelstadt will be a 2C but if they're moving Risto and him, they'll be trading for a 2nd line centre, not for some middling pieces that won't help. Mittelstadt at least has potential and I could see a younger team trading for him while moving a bit of an older centre they have.

As usual it comes down to what the gm is thinking but I assume Cozens is the future at 2c and Asplund is a future 3c. Rather than hold on to Mittelstadt they would probably be better off signing someone like Haula.

I think too much is going on in the Buffalo trade. Brodin for Mittelstadt and their 2nd is a fine trade IMO (remember that their 2nd is a very early one, nearly a late 1st). Maybe Buffalo throws in a small sweetener. If you're looking for a RD somebody like Stetcher could be had and won't be as expensive to acquire as Risto and also won't have as high of a cap hit. Dumba for Rakell seems pretty fair to me.
