Description
Guerin likely doesn't find a team willing to give up a top 6 center for one of our blue liners after Dumba's lackluster season and Brodin's pending free agent status. Galchenyuk fit in well but it was a small sample size so he gets a 1 year prove it deal to see if he can stick long-term. Soucy may not be willing to re-sign knowing he doesn't have a place in the top 4 even though he deserves a longer stint there.

I think Kunin gets a little more money for 3 years. Around 2.8 - 3mil

I'm not against the idea of bringing back Haula to be the 2C for a short contract. He can be a solid player when given quality linemates, assuming his leg injuries haven't slowed him down.

To real for me!
If this is the best Guerin can do then that sucks.
It's not a rebuild and it's not a playoff run. At best it's a lose in the first round team at worst it's a just out of the playoffs team.

I'm against it personally. Russo mentioned in a podcast a while back (probably over 6 months ago, if not longer) that Haula was not very happy here near the very end and people in the locker room took note. Similarly, his time in Carolina didn't end on a happy note it seemed (there were rumors he didn't get along with Rod the Bod). Seems like he's sort of a locker room cancer. He's a solid player, no doubt, but I've heard enough about his character that turn me off on him.
