Any Eichel trade starts with Barzal, which is why Eichel to the Isles will not happen.

I would say it would be Barzal + a pretty good price beyond that. I love Barzal and think he's definitely a star but he is not at the same level as Eichel. And if the Sabres trade Eichel they are certainly asking for a similar aged franchise centre in return as starting point. Like if Florida wanted him, its Barkov +. Any team with a top flight centre is in the running but that is the starting point. A lot of teams would have no hope in getting him no matter how many somewhat high value secondary pieces they offer.
