I just don't understand the fascination some of you Buffalo guys have for Tomas Hertl. He's nothing more than a two-year bridge to Dylan Cozens -- and for that, you're going to give up the 8th overall pick in this draft?!?

And don't give me that "we're in a win-now mode in order to keep Jack Eichel happy" nonsense. You guys aren't Tomas-Hertl-away from getting into the playoffs, and I seriously doubt whether you're Tomas-Hertl-and-Alex-Tuch-away from getting into the playoffs. You also need better goaltending (which, admittedly, a maturing Linus Ullmark may give you) and more than one defense-proficient defenseman.
