Keeping 3 goalies for a squeezed season

You have too much signing bonuses. Signing bonuses can only exceed the cap by 7.5 % (which is deferred to the cap for the next year). Therefore, you can only exceed the cap by 6.1125M. If you add in your cap space, you are exceeding the cap by 259800 which is insignificant now that I crunch the numbers, but something to keep in mind none the less

It’s in the current cba. You can only exceed the cap by 7.5% in performance bonuses (accidentally used the word signing bonuses). Any exceeded amount is deferred to next season as bonus overages and counts against the cap

Lunkvist publicly said last week he will play one more year in Sweden to prepare, and I would love ti see K'Andre next year, but if I'm the Rangers I don't think you can bank on a college sophomore making the NHL year one of his ELC. From what I've heard, his skillset is very raw, and needs to work on his defensive skill to reach his potential...soa very raw skillset may bode well for making the NHL sooner rather than later, or it might do the opposite. When I do posts for NYR I don't put him no on the team because I think they need to plan for if he is not ready, rather than put pressure on him to make team because we need LHD
