Tampa likely declines. Sergachev is close to untouchable and at that valuation, Tampa easily re-signs him. Montour needs a new contract, so Tampa doesn't save much in the swap, Mittlestadt doesn't have a lot of interest to Tampa, and the 1st is in a weaker draft class. Overall, there isn't enough incentive for Tampa to trade Sergachev for this package. Johnson may waive his ntc, but it seems unlikely Buffalo would be one of the handful of locations he'd be willing to go imo.

Didn't seem that far fetched to me... a cap strapped team trading a cap dump and some depth players so they can re-sign their captain. Maybe STL can keep Blais?
