Nick is like Eklund. He just throws names out into the wind to see where they end up.
"Uh, Freddy for Murray!" Well, how does that make sense, Nick? They've got $13 mil in space. So, Jarry gets a raise (Probably $2.5ish?), you add Freddy ($5), and all of the sudden they've got $5.5 mil left. Currently, They have a total of 9 forwards signed. OH WAIT! Bjugstad is there too...so there's 1.3 mil left with 10 forwards signed.
This trade makes no sense for Pittsburgh.

I heard this rumor and it could work for both sides. Toronto gets a young goalie. Penguins get a trade chip which they can flip for picks
Why wouldn't Pittsburgh cut out the middle man and trade Murray for picks instead of Freddy?
