Do not undervalue this years draft. You easily can draft a Holloway, Mercer Jarvis or Amirov which could be Johnny hockey in three years. You're better off trading Domi for a first rounder.

Domi is a Referee case i dont think they will trade him and i dont think another team will make an offer for his RFA.... it will probably cost a first second and third round

This is an outstandingly optimistic take, Johnny is an elite playmaker that can push 100 points. This isn’t near enough to tempt Calgary, especially with the contract he’s on. Like I’ve said before, Suzuki+Romanov+Gallagher+16oa and you can have him.

Wow. Suzuki straight up for him could be too much. A smart GM won't pay for a player on what he has done but what he is going to do. If this year was any indication of things to come then get real on that offer. The flames are.right for trying to get rid of him now.
