I could see the sharks considering doing this at the trade deadline if they are dead in the water by then, but otherwise, right now, its unlikely SJ is looking to move any major forward pieces.

they should be desperate to move couture for good value before it falls apart. the massive money they have tied up in aging players is fairly remarkable and they should look to retool as much as they can as soon as they can.

Move the pick up to this years draft, and drop pilot. We could throw in a pick going the other way as well. We’d much prefer to have this years pick as opposed to next years.
