I'd think the Sharks would want a 2020 1st for Meier if they traded him, Canes really need to add a top 6 winger, can see why you'd want him.

I like timo Meier as a player and his aav is fine right now. The issue is that u trade a ton of assets and then in a few years he is guaranteed a 10 mil qualifying offer. He just isn’t a 10 mil player so he will have to be let go when that qualifying offer comes up if he won’t agree to take less

Goaltending is NOT the issue this team has in the slightest. Reimer and Mrazek were Carolina's STRENGTH against Boston
