Description
The Yotes:

- get a youngish NHL D-man in Montour
- after signing Montour they save approx $8 million in cap space
- they give up some future assets in Jenik and the 4th in 2021, which is tough given their situation, but not crippling.

The Sabres:

- change the make-up of the team by acquiring 3 vets, but with no long-term salary commitments
- the retention on Stepan and Raanta make they potentially tradable assets at the deadline if they are out of the playoff picture
- would have over 21 million in cap space for 2021-22 to sign Dahlin, Jojiharju, Mittelstadt.

Don't see ARI trading Jenik.

The Yotes and the sabres feel like the perfect partners for a potential huge league altering trade. Boosting the Sabres to Contention and the Yotes to salary cap relief and give them and abundance of picks. As a sabres fan, I want Dvorak sooo bad. Like he is the dream center for us, I just don't know what it would take (without trading Cozens).

Biron showed how out of touch he was on Dvorak.

Saying he would rather have MOJO at centre. I almost cried

That trade is not helping the coyotes in the slightest they give up their best overall center and best forward prospect who hasn’t made it to the league yet for pennies on the dollar

the yotes already don't have a future in terms of picks, no way in hell do they trade Jenik without a 2020 1st+ coming back (not to mention trading a starting goalie as well)
