I'm down to try it, however I don't see the NJ trade happening. I also fear that next years offseason would be uncomfortable to re-sign players under the cap with Subban's cap hit.

Devils take that all day, Zuccarello would be the one saying "no". If he did waive I think Wild could squeeze a better draft pick out of Devils.

Yup, definitely a better pick. Could the wild actually make that cap work?

Just from what I see here and thinking about contracts coming up that will need significant increases i think it works.

That’s what I’m seeing too. I love the idea of PK on the 3rd pair being scratched for Addison at the end of the season.
