Description
Pretty simple stuff here:

-Florida trade gets the Panthers younger and cuts 3+ mil in salary next year. Talent-wise the deal is a wash. So it's a net positive move for Florida.
-Dubnyk most likely is getting bought out. Lundqvist comes in as a 1 year stop gap to Kaaponen to play with his buddy Zucc to a team with solid cap space. Allows the team to stay competitive while developing Kaaponen since they don't want to pay/commit any UFA goaltender good enough to start, nor do they want to pay significant assets for any goaltender available via trade (such as with Andersen).
-Domi trade is pretty easy. Strome and Domi are very similar players, Domi doesn't want to play wing and is frankly a lot less effective there at both ends of the ice. Strome is a plus defender at RW. So as a 2nd line RW in Montreal, he should be a solid 45-50 pt 2way winger. Which should hold a lot more value in Montreal than what would be a middle 6, 45-50 point defensive liability LW they'd have in Domi.

generally not a fan of selling low on trouba. I understand that his NTC kicks in next year but it just doesn't seem like good asset management to trade a guy you paid a hefty price to pick up after one underwhelming season. if he played poorly again next season then i would be more in favor of this deal however, we would not be able to move him.

Would Hank waive to go to Minny? If the answer is yes, than Minnesota can just wait until Hank gets bought out, and sign him on the open market. Either way, I don't see somebody acquiring Hank at 6 million bucks to be a 1b, even for a season.

If he plays poorly again next season nobody, including the Rangers, will want his contract.
