Description
I'd accept 2nd rounders for Domi and Danault, replace my own 2nd rounders for 3rds in those trades. Trade Byron and give Drouin a new start after the comments he just made, since we know that normally drives a player out, for Roslovic and give them a 2nd round pick to boot.. Would sign Toffoli and Hoffman to bring size and experience for Suzuki; Sign Mete and Roslovic to transition contracts; Bring in Romanov and Caufield; Next year we get 23M$ cap space to re-sign Gallagher and Tatar is need be.

This wouldn’t make sense. From a Buffalo perspective they need more offense. Ristolainen provides more offense as Byron.

Domi and Danault are worth those first rounders + potentially more on their own

The Jets don't need wingers, so they would say no.

Buffalo will say no to that, Danault and Domi can get 1st rounders without giving up Habs draft picks. Jets trade looks good take out the 2nd rounder

Need defense... Byron is approaching his max production so may he go to someone who needs him. We have depth players, we need front line players and more defense. Hence the move for me makes sense. We also have Petry with an upcoming contract, so might has well prepare for a replacement if need be.
