Description

Laying the base foundation for these 3 trades which is debatable how the fine tuning of these deals may work but id say they are all fairly close.

Canucks clear a ton of cap at the cost of trading some younger players but set themselves up for the following offseason well and get better in the short term IMO.

I think Ferland has to be done at this point. If hes not we would run a 22 man roster without Simmonds and Leivo with him and MacEwen on the third line.

Montreal would clearly consider the deal but I'd rather retain salary on Weal and ask for Kole instead of the 3rd coming back. He's buried in your depth chart behind Toffoli, Boeser, MacEwen and Pod but Montreal's missing big wingers in his system.
