I would be careful with signing any UFA goalie for too much. Goalie stats are heavily influenced by how well the team plays defensively.

I agree. Reimer is a known in terms of having been in SJ for the 2016 SCF run with Boughner as an assistant and then played for him for 2 years in FLA as well. Think everyone should be on the same page here as it relates to system and familiarity.

Yeah I doubt Carolina does that trade. The 30/31 pick two C-level prospects and a 3rd for Trocheck and retained Reimer

Canes have 0 reason to do this. Its not even a value issue, why would the canes want to trade their 2nd line center for no real reason?
