He's either going to sign long-term (I'd guess $3.5x4 at a bare minimum, and that's probably even too low) or he'll take his $2.1M QO and walk to UFA next year. No chance you're paying him $1.75M.

Yeah, it's been clear for some time that (barring an absolutely fervent desire by Dubas to move out $$$ to get Pietro and/or Hall) there isn't a trade fit here.

I suspect Elvis is going nowhere, it's pretty clear they view him as the future in net. Where'd you see/hear these reports?
