I think I know how this is going to go but, EVERYBODY INTO THE POOL ANYWAYS!!!!

Calgary fans will piss and moan there isn't a draft pick included.

Ducks fans will want a 1st instead of a 2nd.

Canes fans, well, lets face it.... will be Canes fans and overvalue everything that they already own in this potential trade and demand more whilst pissing on anything that is a member of the Leafs organization and diminishing their value therein. (Obviously, all of it would hinge on an Andersen extension).

Wild fans should be happy to get 1.5 centres in any deal IMO, but they'll probably piss and moan about quality too.

Is that even enough for Khudobin given his stellar playoff run???? Will he even be available???

And.... Before LeafsNation starts asking about where Dermott is.... He is wherever you want him to be. On the team, off the team, included in a trade.... don't care.

I kind of like the team though. Especially that bottom six and the D Core.

The issue canes fan has isn’t that we overvalue players, the issue is it’s super annoying to see 100 deals of pesce for Anderson every day or 13 for Anderson. Canes fans due value pesce highly, me included, because he is a very good well liked player on a good contract. The canes simply have no reason to trade him unless it is to get a significant upgrade elsewhere.

The offer I gave isnt the worst I have seen but the canes likely would pass. Nylander is a great player and is exactly the kind of player the canes are looking for in the top 6. The issue is that while it upgrades the top 6 wing, it also downgrades 3 other positions. The canes have been looking for a 2c for awhile and trochek is hopefully the answer. If they moved him they have to find a center again. Foegele is a good young player who play a north south game and is a great ok guy. Anderson is an upgrade on Mrazek for sure but I’m not really sure how much. Ultimately the loss of pesce, trochek, foegele just probably isn’t worth Nylander and Anderson to the canes. I understand that the canes get a first as well but I just do not think it makes the canes a better team now

Carolina probably doesn't do that trade because it makes the team worse. Don't understand the point of the flames trade. Doubt wild trade foligno but its a good trade. Ducks trade is solid, don't know how good lilijgren is but seems fair
