Strome is coming off a career year playing with Panarin. He's not a guy I would target for Ottawa because he's going to ask for a big contract after the year he had, and he's going regresses substantially in terms of production. That contract has all the makings of a huge mistake imo. If he reverts back to around his career average I think Ottawa would regret giving up Formenton to get him.

3 things-

One- Columbus probably doesn’t make that trade, we don’t really need wings at this time.

Two- Tampa easily declines that trade unless DeAngelo is coming in at a very low number, they can’t afford him anyways.

Three- Ottawa isn’t making that trade, they value Formenton really high, and honestly Strome should take a pretty big discount to stay in New York, he won’t have near the impact on other teams as he would on the rangers with Panarin.

Tampa would only get rid of Cirelli for cap issues, they wouldnt take on Deangelo

Only trade Rangers probably make there is with Ottawa. Honka's not getting tendered. the Columbus deal is laughable and Tampa doesn't have the cap .
