Apparently the Baertschi bridge has been burned, which I suspected. I wonder if he actually will get a look this year though if management wants to minimize our dead cap space.

JB said today that if Baertschi deserves a spot on the NHL roster out of camp, he'll get it. I think it makes a lot of sense to let him play

Yea I heard that, but I don't think it means much. There's not much else he can say in that situation. If they send him down he can just say that Baertschi didn't show enough.
