Description

Bruins have several options for LD and LW.

Can go for short term fixes on LD such as a Leddy or Hjalmarsson or Goligoski since these teams need to clear cap space to sign their RFAs. These should be relatively cheap acquisitions with a small retention. Then just keep JD.

Or trade JD for a legitimate long-term fix for LD, such as a Darnell Nurse. Then sign either Hall on a 1 or 2 yr on a cheaper deal, or go after Hoffman on a longer term deal.

Don’t see EDM moving Nurse with Klef a mess. Been discussed and fell through.

Ekholm, Hanifin, Dunn are my preferred targets at this point depending how things play out.

Due to Klef's injury, I would say Nurse is honestly the least likely Oiler to be moved after McD and Drai this season. The Oil will bank on him having a huge season (even though that is risky).
