Description
Hoffman adresses a huge need for this club and id be down for Nashville to throw him a 4-year deal, because he is a great top 6 winger and next to a good playmaker in Duchene (who will definitely have something to prove next season) I think it could be a great deal for Nashville. Kunin isn't really a top 6 winger but he's the best option to slot in on that 2nd line with Hoffman and Duchene.
The top line should bounce back offensively this season as all 3 had a solid play in round stats vs ARI. Arvidsson and Johansen are gonna really need to bounce back next year in particular.
The rest of the scoring I think is really balanced, a lot of hardworking players and a lot of guys who in a full 82 game season are capable of 30+ points. I also really love the 4th line from a defensive aspect.
Adding depth to the Defence was super important for this club and bringing on BoroCOP and Benning provides a lot of physicality and shot blocking for the club and can help take off pressure from that top 4.
If goaltending holds up this team makes the playoffs, I don't know how far though because I just don't think John Hynes can be THE GUY behind the bench for Nashville.

I thought Hoffman to NSH made sense right from the start. This would be great for the club.

With Hoffman, my ideal lines would be:

Forsberg - Johansen - Arvidsson
Hoffman - Duchene - Tolvanen
Jarnkrok - Sissons - Kunin
Trenin - Cousins - Grimaldi
Richardson

I disagree 10000% tbh. Sure, they need goals, but if he takes a 1 year deal he would be dumb to do it for a team where offense seemingly dies. I dont think he would go to cbus either even though they desperately need goals.

Sure, but Poile has already said he's going to give him a shot this year and mentioned him playing on Duchene's wing. May as well give him a chance to succeed on a skill line - he has the highest potential out of the young players on this team so may as well stick him somewhere where he has the greatest potential to succeed. He's playing well in the KHL right now.
