Description

I have thought about the possibility of a Fowler trade followed by us flipping Fowler for Trouba... here's a thought. Vatanen is a solid top 4 dman who can get 30 pts and is 4.8m for a few more years. Unless the Rangers can convince Trouba to sign a cheaper deal in the 4m range here is my trade

I see that, but DG on LTIR is a cap relief of 4.8m, and cap room after this type of trade is 5.5m... also can see once DG comes off LTIR, Klein for a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Vatanen top RHD, DG 2nd and Clendening 3 RHD

Only problem is Vatanen isn't the one getting dealt, And Anaheim isn't shedding enough salary here to resign Lindholm and Anaheim doesn't need another D man back so this doesn't work for Anaheim.

Rangers need a RHD, Fowler isn't great on the Right side. Miller saves them 2m and Dylan can be their 7th dman or he can replace Stoner if they keep him on waivers and save them money that way
