Description
This is my first none oilers post, and my first rankings. Remember this is MY OPINION, so no need to call me something in swears just because I have a opinion.

1. Connor McDavid.
Yes I said it Connor McDavid is number 1 for me. He’s too good, good offensively, very good with the puck which most people wouldn’t be able to do at that type of speed. He isn’t the best at defence, or face offs though. That’s the downfall, but what he can bring to the table offensively, is just too insane not to have at number 1.

2. Sydney Crosby.
Yes!! Crosby! He is still so good. Good at faceoffs, good defensively, good offensively. He’s just a very good all around player, which most players don’t have that in their game. His downfall is his speed. Now I’m not saying he’s incredibly slow, because he isn’t. He just isn’t as fast as (McDavid, MacKinnon etc.) that is the one thing that’s bad for him.

3. Nathan MacKinnon.
He is so good also. Good all around, and he’s fast! Not as good all around as Crosby in my opinion, I think Crosby still has he edge on MacKinnon. The thing about MacKinnon is his face off draws. Not over 50%, like Crosby is. Which is part of the reason why he is lower than Crosby! Although MacKinnon is a very good player so he is number 3.

4. Patrice Bergeron.
That dude is insane with two good line mates, which always helps. He is very good 2 way player, good at face offs especially. He is also older and slower than the other guys, so he would be number 4, because he is good at the rest of the stuff.

5. Alexander Barkov.
Extremely underrated guy! Plays on a bad Florida team so nobody looks at his stats. He is so good amazing defensively, pretty good offensively as well, but definitely is more of a defensive center. Super great at the draws because of his defensive side of him!

6. Evgeni Malkin.
Oh man! This guy is still good. Just like a few teams he is a 2c when he should be a 1c, in most teams. He is that good! Good all around player, getting older though that a downfall, because of the speed going down. Still not bad speed though. Everyone on this list isn’t bad at speed! Decent at faceoffs, not the best, not the worst. Good player!

7. Leon Draisaitl.
Call me biased, or a homer, or crazy if you must. He’s just good! Very good shot, very good passer. Maybe the best one in the league! The bad thing is his defence. Yup, not the best at that. Either than that he is amazing. Also a 2c like Malkin when he would be a 1c on most teams.

8. Jack Eichel.
Welcome Jack! He’s good. Like most guys on this list, he is good all around. Definitely good offensively! Even though he’s on a bad Buffalo team that could tern it around this year, he still has been trying his best to be a leader, and carry the team. Not the best with the faceoffs percentage though, so that sucks!

9. Auston Matthews.
Yep! Good player! Good shot not as good defensively as Eichel. I may start a war haha!! But a good player! Good at faceoffs which is amazing for Toronto! Good player, need a little work defensively and he would then be fine!

10. Steven Stamkos.
Yay! Stamkos! I definitely like this dude. Such a good player, even though he’s hurt. But when he’s not he’s a force to be wrecked with! Very good all around so he earned a spot! Very good at the draws too! Just good everywhere! I hope he can over come his injury’s and start to be the Stamkos everyone knows and loves!

There we have it. My top 10!

I think you did a good job overall, but personally, I'd switch Matthews and Bergeron, move Mackinnon to the top, Switch Eichel and Barkov, and move Malkin to the bottom. Like you said, this is only my opinion.

Stamkos is more or less a winger now, maybe replace him with Couturier or O'Reilly? There's also an argument for Point and Pettersson there but I don't think they are there yet. Personally I have Draisaitl at #4

I dont like Bergeron that high and I lack the understanding how Bergeron is better than Kopitar still to this day.
