I don’t think that’s enough for Toews

I can't see NSH having interest in Toews. They just got rid of a bunch of centers to clear space for other players. They'd be interested in upgrading on wing, sure, but not center ice. Maybe next season - but I think Poile is content with Johansen - Duchene and hoping that last season was a fluke -- coach firing, whole team kinda sh*t the bed, etc. It was a transition year and hopefully they'll be better next season.



I can't see Poile ever trading Rinne unless Rinne decides he wants to chase a cup in this last year and NSH is out of the playoffs. He'll be the first jersey retired by NSH I bet. Although NYR bought out Lundqvist, so anything can happen I guess...

Yeah both are kind of direction embryos as Nsh is really at a crossroads. I think goaltending, as usual, is the big one, but it's so strange with Askarov in the system as well. I don't really know the plan here.
