Description

Wild get a more offense oriented center and under contract forward to help meet Seattle expansion draft requirements if we decide to protect 4F x 4D (this way we don't have to play Rask 27 games or Sturm 40).

Toronto gets $1.4 mil cap space and the better defensive center.

Obviously you would, you're getting a better player at 50% retained. This is a no brainer for Toronto. There is zero reason for the Wild to consider this deal.
