So this is a scenario if Tarasenko ends up not missing time because he was given a 5 month time span for the injury and say the season starts around February is what people are saying.
Trade Gunnarsson to the Sabres for a 4th round pick- They dont have many LD
Trade Bozak to the Devils with a 2nd round pick and recieve a 3rd. They have most cap space
Sign Dunn to a 2 year bridge deal worth 3 mil
Sign Hoffman to a 1 year 6.15 deal, He signs with a contender. Has ROR setting him up
Steen put on LTIR
Also Retaining 2 mil of Bozak's 5 mil contract
This gives the Blues a great scoring top 6, 3rd line still can score, and a physical 4th line
In my opinion, with this team makes the Blues instantly a top 4 contender

No thanks on Hoffman, he doesn;t fit our game. And we're not paying to retain $2M on Bozak. We'd rather keep him to do what he does and play Kyrou up.

Disregarding the fact that the Blues aren’t even pressured to move Bozak at the moment, Bozak at $3M cap hit is not a cap dump Blues would need to lose assets for whatsoever.

He has been a 22+ goal scorer the last 6 seasons? Who knows if Tarasenko will get back to his usual self? also 5 of last 6 season Hoffman scored 26+.With the uncertainty of Vlad being his usual self the Blues could use a pure sniper

I mean one year left of 5m cap space is an overpay. Who knows if they wanna move him or not.
