Description

Basically Ekblad for Laine. But Florida gets Pionk to take Ekblads spot. He provides great offence and he will cost less than Ekblad long term would probably cost $5.5 on a long term deal. Laine would probably only take $9M max playing in no tax Florida and with countrymate Barkov. Could be a disgusting duo up front.

Connolly is to even out the money. Winnipeg would take on more cap year 1 but Florida would in the years after. Can play 2nd or 3rd line.

Florida gives a 2nd because I think Winnipeg is giving up more value.

Sure his parents are Russian but he grew up and played in Finland, plays for them internationally, and lives there in the summers... he’s Finnish.
