Florida should take that deal and run. Every one around the league know's that after the 2 years remain on is current deal he will it the market. That would be a very nice return for a player you will likely loose for absolutely nothing in 2 years.

People seem to forget on this site that there are other teams in the league that are allowed to offer trades. The market is open, it’s not like florida has to take whatever Montreal offers or *lose him for nothing.

On what planet is Danault or Kotkaniemi even close to Barkov's level? Noway should Florida accept that. other 29 NHL can offer Zito better then that.

Danault is a excellent players and Kotkaniemi i a 20 years old kid who have a great potential. on top of that you get a defenceman that would probably become Florida best defensive prospect.
