    I think Habs would have to add to get Forsberg out of Nashville.
    Younger, has better numbers than Patches lately. Nashville doesnt get any gains from this move

    Why do all Habs trades include DD? Teams do not want to take DD as cap dump just so Montreal can sign other players. Same for Fehr from Pittsburg, Sbisca from Vancouver, Sheehan from Detroit.

    only way they are getting rid of DD is they are taking a slightly worse contract back.
    Like for the Avs, if they can get rid of McLeod who is signed next year at 1.3m to be a healthy scratch for 3.5m for the rest of DD this year since hes a UFA. Something like that.

    They had to do the same thing wtih Briere, moving 1 year left of him for 2 years of PAP (which they just ended up buying out after 1 year anyways)

    Honestly Patches isnt worth Fosberg. For Dd i send him to Carolina just to make sense in a perfext world Dd woukd be sent to The Ahl now and bring hudon
