Description
A good player will be lost in expansion draft, but if the Leafs win the cup this year its well worth it. Enough money to sign Andersen, Dzingel, and Hyman, and a little flexbility to add to the 4th line. Arizona needs a 1st rounder for next year, and it should be a late pick. My trade reasons are as follows: Parakyo is an elite shutdown RHD. D core should be amongst the best in the league now. Nylander has great upside, but is needed to aquire Parakyo. Dvorak is having a great season on a bad Coyotes team, his numbers should go up on a line with Tavares. I think Dzingel is a good upgrade on Kerfoot. Mikeyev and Robertson can switch places if need be. Ottawa needs picks an prosects, so the trade should go through.

This is a worse team by a large margin. The team is finally good defensively and still fans want to send out a star forward for a defenceman we don't need. And yeah changing 4 roster players is always great in season.

That's three players, more like two, Dermott and Lehtonen split time, and Engvall is playing because of injury. You can never be good enough defensively. Dvorak will help supplement offensive lost by Nylander. Better d, less shots for Andersen, a more effective Andersen. Also with the addition of Parakyo, TO's 22 ranked PK will very likely benefit greatly, not to mention the addition of Dzingel. And a star forward is being traded for a star dman, call it for what it is. It's been a long time since TO had an elite RHD.

Arizona declines. Leafs and stl both decline that first trade. Leafs decline the Ottawa trade but the sens are too cheap to retain anyway.

Toronto is already 7th in goals against per game while St Louis is 19th. So tell me again why does TO need to subtract from their elite offensive players for a defenceman?

Dvorak is off to a fast start, but he has shown he's a 40 point player....so why trade for him. Dzingel at centre over Kerfoot, that seems like a lose for Leafs.
Leafs are worse at forwards with these trades, worse for futures but would upgrade with Parayko.
