Don't think the Ducks would trade Rakell for Komarov. And Leipsic.....his trade value is minimal. Why isn't he in the NHL?

Look at the Leafs cap space....Hagelin and even LTIR Desperes....not needed by the Leafs.

Made the ANA trade without knowledge of Depres insurance coverage. If he is not covered than it could be interesting.

Hagelin is cheaper than JVR and provides experience. He is signed 1 more year than JVR. The other pieces are good pieces.

I wasn't talking about insurance. Just the fact that you have all this cap taking up space (and it does affect your signings) and the danger is Lupul or Desperes are medically cleared then you are over cap.
And your Hagelin statement....you trade two experienced LWer Komarov and JVR and say the Leafs need Hagelin's experience? Hagelin ain't worth it. "Provides experience" AKA "I signed a overpaid contract cause I use to be good, but now I'm paid on "experience" not productivity"

Agree, Yea Bozak will move on but with Matthews, Kadri and maybe Nylander that looks like a solid two or three. Are Leafs prospects, Gauthier and Brooks going to NHL ready/good in a year or two? Rakell looks like a fixture in Anaheim with his play and his contract.
