No team is trading for an injured Eichel. Also Eichel to the Rangers makes zero sense. They could have had Lafrenière and they declined why would they want Kakko who hasn’t shown a lot at the NHL level?

I knew you were gonna be bad this year. You can’t go to free agency grab Hall, and trade for Staal and think that you are gonna be cup contenders. That takes time, you got to get a better defence and goaltending. Ristolainen sucks! Hutton sucks, and Ullmark is okay, would be better if he split starts with a better goalie. Staal isn’t a 2c as well, you will have to either try and get Nuge, or wait for Cozens to become one. You have a few holes, with Okposos trash contract!

Take it from an oilers fan get a new GM who is competent before the good pieces you do have are traded for longshots, lose for a couple more years to get draft order and get a new head coach.
