Not sure of JTs contract but NMC seems to me the Avs would rate as one team he would not want to traded to. Might as well suffer as an GarthSnowland till the summer of 2018.

The Isles are in a tough spot with him. With only 1 year left on his deal, his value won't be quite as high as it should be and why would he re sign with the Islanders until they can show him progress? I think Tavares bucks the trend and leaves NYI as a UFA - it's just hopeless there.

Nice dream. As said already NYI are in a tough spot though, who knows what they could be forced into. Let's keep Landy as well though and give them Grigorenko as our top 6 would look so much better then!
