NSH declines, if they're gonna move Ellis it'll be for futures, let alone a deal where they ship out Tomasino and take on a ton of Cap

I wasn't thrilled about it. I just don't see any reason that the Capitals shouldn't be trying to get rid of those contracts if they are serious about re-signing Ovechkin, Vrana and Samsonov among others. Alexeyev looks to be a younger and cheaper version of Orlov and the Caps have 3 center prospects that will need ice time (McMichael, Lapierre and Protas).

I thought it was a joke on NSH. Some sort of "the Preds ripped the Caps off for Forsberg, and now here's a lopsided trade in the other direction" type proposal.
