Even though they don't have a lot of value, I still don't see the Wings giving up 2 roster players for a 5th. We still need to ice a team to finish this season...

I think it’s fair considering that NJD retains on this deal. But if retention came off the table, the middling picks should too.

I don’t see the Isles asking for retention for Palmeri. If anything it would be easier IMO to get Filpula retained as his demand will be much less. Also if you are acquiring Filpula there is no need to acquire Brassard.
