No thanks on Getzlaf. I think thats a massive overpayment for Hamilton which I'd be willing to do for a shorter deal but not 6 years. I'd possibly give him that much for like 3 years or go 6x8. Ovi is....interesting. 2 years might cause issues with the way our contracts are set to expire but a one year deal...at that bonkers price....I just might do. Doubt he accepts but hey who knows.

then why hasn't this team had an elite winger in almost 10 years?
with Hamilton that D core isn't half bad especially considering anticipated growth from Smith.
