So I was listening to the Backcheck podcast EP. 29 the guest happened to be NHL Rumors Daily, I consider him to be as credible as any insider. They got to talking about Eichel and he is aware of two teams who will make a play for him in the offseason. 1 I believe is safe to assume will be the NY Rangers the other is a team in the west with a new GM and he wasn't sure they would have the assets to get a deal done. My mind went to the Coyotes, they fit the description. So here is my Eichel to AZ attempt.

In fairness, you seem to think no one has the assets. Eichel isn’t Gretzky, he’s a sub point per game NHL player.

Couple things i find crazy here. One is that you find the nhl rumors daily guy to be as credible as any insider. 2 is that you’ve got the brokest team in the league dishing out $50 million over five for eichel, 28 for Hyman over four, and 5.5 for Tyler Johnson in year one, and similar numbers beyond, and then Barrie and savard etc etc. the coyotes can’t be a team that’s 2 million under the cap next year.

The guy is just a volume rumour tweeter, he throws out to many names and teams then if something does but he goes back and Asks to be praised about it
