I hope you know that Trouba and Kreider have NMC and they won't waive it to go to rebuilding teams.

Even if they waived it, NO ONE wants their contracts

Disagree if the price is right Kreider to Edmonton could make a lot of sense.

Trade above strome for jj ohhhh how things have changed from beginning of the season to now. Besides the been there done that aspect with strome I have to think oilers pass jj is a great fit for 4c in my opinion and Mcloed has been everything can hope for as a 3c this would just raise the oilers cap and prevent ability to upgrade actual issues. If you suggested strome for Kassian some oilers fans might consider that assuming this deal your looking to beef up roster. I’d still pass but from oilers perspective could make more sense

Especially since Trouba has a girlfriend in the middle of her residency. Trouba's #1 reason for wanting to be in the US was to be near his girlfriend. So I seriously doubt he waives for any team at least for the next couple of seasons. He might waive for NYI or NJD but that's about it.

If that were the cause I’d buy him out just to be done with him (I know signing bonuses make that impossible). He’s been crap and is barely worth half of what he makes. That’s the one move I’ve hated since they made it. Trouba is not a top pairing guy yet makes top pairing money. Would’ve preferred McDonagh at $7 mil for the next 5 years over Trouba. By far the biggest blunder we’ve made since the start other than drafting Lias Anderson who’s crap and taking Kakko over a center back in 2019. Now with Dolan sinking his claws into the organization I wouldn’t be surprised if we stay in mediocrity for the next 10 years if not more.

What the heck is that Strome trade? Strome has literally scored better than Barzal over the last two seasons.

Why the heck are you trading him for a 4th liner??
