Description

First Line is Obvious, and you can guarantee Foligno will be in the Habs' faces if they start being overly pushy with Matthews & Marner.

I was glad to see how the Leaf's brass managed Galchenyuk, and I think he is an excellent fit alongside Tavares & Nylander. But, Kerfoot is the odd man-in because his contract, he's faster and can take more face-offs if need be.

Despite him not playing this year, Riley Nash seems to be a lock for the third-line center role. His size and defensive play make him a valuable asset for his wingers to wreak havoc on the Habs. *Ilya Mikheyev would be my next option for the third line to start the playoffs.

To me, the best the fourth line this year has been Thorton-Brooks-Spezza. The Hall-of-Famers play big, intelligent hockey. At the same time, Brooks is young, fast, backchecks well and can keep the puck cycling in the Habs offensive zone.

Overall, I am just excited to see the Leafs & Habs' play against each other in the playoffs for the first time in my lifetime. GLG
